Customization Options

Make your sidebar work the way you do

Collapse/Expand Sidebar

Toggle the sidebar to maximize your workspace area when needed

How to do it:

  1. 1Click the collapse button in the top-left corner
  2. 2Sidebar will minimize to show only icons
  3. 3Click again to expand back to full view
  4. 4Your preference is automatically saved

Reorder Navigation Items

Arrange sidebar items to match your workflow priorities

How to do it:

  1. 1Hover over any sidebar item
  2. 2Click and drag the item to your preferred position
  3. 3Drop it in the new location
  4. 4Order is saved automatically for your account

Pin Frequently Used Items

Keep your most-used features at the top of the sidebar

How to do it:

  1. 1Right-click on any sidebar item
  2. 2Select 'Pin to top' from the context menu
  3. 3Pinned items appear at the top with a pin icon
  4. 4Unpin by right-clicking and selecting 'Unpin'

Hide Unused Sections

Simplify your sidebar by hiding features you don't use

How to do it:

  1. 1Go to Settings > Workspace Preferences
  2. 2Toggle off sections you don't need
  3. 3Hidden sections won't appear in your sidebar
  4. 4You can re-enable them anytime in settings

Sidebar Tips

Use Keyboard Navigation

Press Ctrl+/ to quickly focus the sidebar and navigate with arrow keys

Quick Access with Numbers

Use Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc. to jump directly to sidebar sections

Search Within Sidebar

Use Ctrl+K to open command palette and search for any feature
