Make your sidebar work the way you do
Collapse/Expand Sidebar
Toggle the sidebar to maximize your workspace area when needed
How to do it:
- 1Click the collapse button in the top-left corner
- 2Sidebar will minimize to show only icons
- 3Click again to expand back to full view
- 4Your preference is automatically saved
Reorder Navigation Items
Arrange sidebar items to match your workflow priorities
How to do it:
- 1Hover over any sidebar item
- 2Click and drag the item to your preferred position
- 3Drop it in the new location
- 4Order is saved automatically for your account
Pin Frequently Used Items
Keep your most-used features at the top of the sidebar
How to do it:
- 1Right-click on any sidebar item
- 2Select 'Pin to top' from the context menu
- 3Pinned items appear at the top with a pin icon
- 4Unpin by right-clicking and selecting 'Unpin'
Hide Unused Sections
Simplify your sidebar by hiding features you don't use
How to do it:
- 1Go to Settings > Workspace Preferences
- 2Toggle off sections you don't need
- 3Hidden sections won't appear in your sidebar
- 4You can re-enable them anytime in settings

Use Keyboard Navigation
Press Ctrl+/ to quickly focus the sidebar and navigate with arrow keys
Quick Access with Numbers
Use Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc. to jump directly to sidebar sections
Search Within Sidebar
Use Ctrl+K to open command palette and search for any feature
