Create Organization

Create your workspace and set up the initial company profile

Step-by-step guide:

  1. 1.Click Create Organization plus sign on the sidebar
  2. 2.Upload your logo (optional) and enter your Organization legal name
  3. 3.Add description, email, and website (optional)
  4. 4.Select your organization size and choose your industry
  5. 5.Continue through Legal Information: select Yes if you have a legal entity and fill entity type, EIN, state & date of incorporation, authorized shares, par value, and registered address (or select No to complete later)
  6. 6.Specify financing details if applicable, then review and click Create organization

Setup or update your organization information, logo, and details

Step-by-step guide:

  1. 1.Click your organization on the sidebar to navigate into organization's homepage
  2. 2.On the quick actions area, click Update Organization
  3. 3.In the update organization modal, you will able to update any information you need
  4. 4.The updated info will applied to all functionality of the organization

Do

  • Set up organization details completely before inviting team members
  • Use clear, descriptive names for roles and permissions
  • Use legal names for organization and team members
  • Update organization setting immediately after confirmed changes

Avoid

  • Giving all team members admin permissions
  • Use nicknames for organization and team members
  • Using generic role names that don't reflect your team structure
  • Provide wrong and outdated information
